Captain Kim and the crew of the Blaze II are incredible. This is not your average vacation, it’s more of an incredible and luxury sailing adventure, you’ll see and experience wonderful sites up close and dine on delicious meals. You’ll sail, motor cruise, fish, kayak, snorkel, hike and see the most beautiful and incredible sites up close all while on a wonderful 62’ boat. Don’t expect the Ritz, more of glamping accommodations but you’ll cherish every moment, just got off the boat and highly recommend.

Relaxing Boat Experience It was an amazing bridal party for my older sister’s wedding. I enjoyed the warm welcome coming from the crew for my family and I. The crew also did a great job with setting the mood for us to be comfortable and to enjoy our time together. They not only allowed us to jump off the top of the boat, took our pictures for us, but they were so gracious to serve us food as well (even though we were to provide our own food). The boat was clean, and the sound system was incredible. I’ll most definitely remember this boat, and I will be looking out to rent out this boat on my own accord for future trips when I come back to Maui.

This was my favorit vacation we ve taken in Maui. A catamaran tour for four days 3 nights. Boat was amazing. Captainand crew was attentive and always taking us great places no one goes.A must do, this was fun, relaxing and we anchored in private spots

Great time we had nothing beautiful yacht. Glad to see they are still in business after the fires. I saw some other reviews that didnt tell the correct story. This yacht is well kept foe the year and as I know anything can happen. We had couple good days of windy .

We stay on board and traveled for 5 days around thw islands. The boat was fantastic, crew awsome meals were great. I appreciate thw custom trip, catered to our needs, mom was little seasick so captain Kim took an easier route to calm the motion. Kids love the water scooters and paddle boards. I relaxed from my buzy schedual in NY. This is definitely something unique as seen on Netflix. The boat was well kept, I dont expect perfection since its 15 years old. But all system working and maybe things fail but not enough trip. Crew went swimming with us and took us all on a hike while the chef stayed back to make dinner. All went well this vacation.

Captain Kim and our sailing experience Our family went on a catamaran trip, 3 days and 2 nites with Captain Kim and her staff. Captain Kim and her crew of Del and Kare are true treasures of the Sea. We were so lucky to enjoy a three day, three night charter with a Sea Captain who puts safety first and facilitating a fun time on equal measure. Captain Kim went well out of her way to show us unique experiences, and both beautiful and rare views along multiple island stops. The food was top notch and so reasonably priced with careful attention to allergens and preferences. Kare put herself out multiple times to both meet the captain’s demands and make our trip pleasurable. Del- what a genuine pearl and marvelous person to get to know! Thank you, Captain and Crew, for a marvelous time with good company. I would do it again and (hope to again) and if you are reading this you should too!

I got information i was looking for.

We had to walk 1.5 miles along the beach to get on it because of sand bars but that's not their fault. If you're ever there, you better not miss one of these opportunities.

A really great experience! Family outing with Captain Kim for a gorgeous day sailing, swimming, dinning on fresh caught fish... Make sure you book this experience when you're visiting Hawaii! The Blaze II is a gorgeous and super comfortable catamaran with nice cabins and bathrooms, and has an exceptionally smooth ride. Captain Kim knows the boat inside and out, and is a consummate sailor and hostess. I felt safety was always a top priority. She was also a fine cook and hostess, serving delicious, healthy meals. We went to some very unusual spots in our four days on the boat, seeing rare and beautiful marine fish and mammals. I highly recommend this experience.

Amazing and wonderful The Blaze II is a gorgeous and super comfortable boat, with comfortable cabins and bathrooms. Captain Kim is a very experienced sailor and a fine hostess, cooks healthy food, and knows the best places to snorkel and dive. We saw so many exquisite marine fish and mammals. Pretty magical!

What an amazing experience. We saw seals, bottle nose and spinner dolfins, whales and tons of turtles. Accommodations were perfect and we even slept on deck one night. Crew took great care to assure we had a great time and saw a lot of scenery. I would go again and again.

We had an awesome experience with Captain Kim, Tommy and Carol. They went above and beyond to make our excursion amazing. We had a beautiful day on the water. The guys cliff jumped. We found them on google it was a nice boat experience. The staff was great we ate good food they took us to good snorkeling spots and we got lucky and saw whales. They provided fun toys on the boat from kayaks to water scooters which made it even more enjoyable we definitely got our moneys worth.

360 degree ocean views for 4 days A group of 6 friends celebrated a birthday on Blaze II for 4 days and 3 nights. We started in Lahaina, anchored at Honolua Bay, then sailed to Molokai & anchored at Kaunakakai harbor, then sailed to Five Needles and anchored at Manele harbor, then back to Lahaina. It was a great time. Captain Rafael, Zac & Tom are great guys. Details were scant before the trip, so we did not know what to expect. It’s best to just trust the process and know that the crew will do their best to take great care of you. It goes without saying that we enjoyed the awesome snorkeling, but we also really loved the land excursions on Molokai & Lanai. Too bad we didn’t see whales (too early in the season), but we saw some dolphins and plenty of sea turtles. The 360 ocean views are the best. The stars were amazing. Just peace and quiet.We snacked and ate well. The crew got a chocolate cake for my birthday, and Captain Rafael played the ukulele. All the sunrises & sunsets were memorableA few tips:1. Alcohol is not included, so bring your own, or ask the chef to buy it for you and bill you2. The seas can be rough. 2 of us used scopolamine patches for 1 day, which helped a lot3. Unlimited fresh water on the boat thanks to desalination by reverse osmosis!4. No wifi on the boat, but we had cell service at all the places we anchored (we had A T & T & Verizon)5. They can accommodate large suitcases on the dingy & on the boat, but if you have large hard side suitcases & get the smallest cabin, you will probably have to leave them in the dining room. You don’t need to pack much. They provide plenty of towels & snorkel gear. It never got cold.6. The outdoor shower had hot water! Amazing!

It was an extraordinary trip. The crew, the captain and everyone was very friendly, reliable and helpful! We felt at ease, relax and we had a lot of fun! Music and food was excellent. Well done!

October, 2022 had a fabulous day on the water. Sailing, swimming, snorkeling and even saw a large green turtle! The boat is well equipped and the crew were lots of fun. We were served amazing salmon, salad and fresh fruit. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Maybe next year we’ll do an overnight trip. Can’t wait! Mahalo Captain Kim🌸

Nothing short of an epic experience. The guys were extremely generous with educating on everything from the islands to marine life to the boat. Food was delicious and we were completely looked after as if we were family. We were upgraded as a surprise which was a real treat to the big and beautiful Blaze, which is such a cool Cat and way to see Maui from water. All of the gadgets on the boat and we particularly loved the water scooters when they took us out diving. Can’t wait to come back! Couldn’t recommend more.

Our family of five including a young adult and two teens had a fantastic time on Blaze II. Captain Kim was ill the week we visited so Captain Kalai, Tommy and Lena were our crew. They took such good care of us! We chose to explore a bit more than we are told is usual. Our second day we sailed around Molokai, a mostly uninhabited and gorgeous island. The third day we sailed to the uninhabited side of Lanai. We snorkeled, paddle boarded, kayaked and swam at our fabulously gorgeous and completely private anchoring points. We didn't see another boat nor person for two days! And we got to sail with a school of dolphins. I wish I could share the video; they were right below us on the front of the boat for at least twenty minutes. It was a truly spectacular trip, one we could not have experienced any other way. Our crew was made up of native Hawaiians, the Captain a teacher of Hawaiian studies. They were so gracious in sharing their culture and customs with us. It was a joy to be on the boat and to spend time with the crew. If you are seriously considering this trip, don't hesitate. It's a truly amazing and unique way to experience the islands. We kinda feel badly for people who only stay at the resorts; they have no idea what they are missing!

Our family had the best time with Hawaiian charters! Whitney, our captain was so sweet and ensured we all had a great time. We got to snorkel, paddle board and they even blew up floaties for the kids. Definitely the best part of our trip.

Went out for a sunset whale watching cruise and had a fantastic time! Captain Kim and her crew are top notch. The food and the crews company and knowledge made this trip one of our best excursions ever. Whatever water activity you enjoy the boat can accommodate it. Highly recommend

Best family vacation! My husband, 2 kids (7 and 11) and his parents just finished a 3 night stay aboard Aloha Swim. We had such an amazing time. I was a little worried sailing with my kids that it would not be safe or that they would not appreciate sailing like the adults would, but everyone LOVED IT! Whitney and Jess worked so hard to make sure we were safe and had the best time. Whitney and Jess were so great with my kids helping them learn to snorkel and even an intro into scuba diving for my son which was the highlight of his trip! We sailed from Maui to Lanai visiting remote beautiful sites and then the best snorkeling at Manele Bay. I learned to paddle board and even saw a Monk seal on a remote beach. Then there are the whales, unbelievable to be out on your own charter watching tons of whales. Truly an amazing experience! When our trip was coming to an end I really wanted to go take a long shower prior to flying back home, our previous hotel was less than helpful in helping with a courtesy room for 1 hour to shower even though we had just stayed there for days and our luggage was still being stored there, but Kim (owner of charter company) made it happen for us. We were able to use a beach front condo for a few hours to clean up before our long flight home, so appreciated!!Check them out on Netflix- Amazing Vacation Rentals Season 1. My son thought this was soooo cool! This truly was an unforgettable vacation, can't recommend them enough!

The sunset was so beautiful and was a perfect way to end the day! The Blaze II is an older boat and holds her age well. Beautiful cherry wood and teak throughout and well maintained. If you get the chanceyou must book a cruise with Captain Kim and her crew on Blaze II and enjoy the beautiful views of the island and catch a beautiful sunset-so relaxing! Our family had the most amazing day on the beautiful blue water surrounding Maui. Captain Kim and the crew were awesome. The boat was immaculate and we enjoyed watching countless whales swimming nearby, snorkeling with James Bond water sleds, and viewing Maui, Lanai, Molokai & Kahoolawe while watching the sunset. It was a bucket list experience!

Fifth time with Hawaiian Catamaran. So much to love! They cater to your group, amount of days and weather. I love the flexibility and desire to make the trip memorable.

We had the most amazing experience on Blaze II. Ted and Christine were so friendly, accommodating and fun. The boat was clean, the food was 5 star, the beds were super comfortable. We saw tons of whales, turtles and dolphins. There were four of us and we are already talking about our next trip. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering it. We kayaked, swam, snorkeled, paddle boarded, and whale watched. There were numerous different excursions all in one and at our finger tips whenever we wanted to do something. I cannot say enough positive things about this trip!

Best vacation ever! Ted and Christine were very gracious and accommodating. They kept the boat very clean. They took us to some amazing secluded places on the islands! The food they fixed was absolutely superb. They communicated with us on the weather, gave us options each day so we could customize the trip to our desires. We had a large group of spinner dolphins which swam with our boat for a long time. Seen whales breaching and baby’s nursing (with binoculars) Kayaking, paddle boarding etc was all included. Highly recommend the Blaze II with them as the crew. Would be great for girls trip, families etc. Ted and Christine are Ohana to us now. I’d give them 10 stars if I could! We’ll be back for sure.

We had an amazing girls trip in May. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The food was amazing! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We didn’t need to go ashore and fight the crowds. We had our chef William and Captain Kim aboard to help us with whatever we wanted to do. Sunning on the deck, kayaking along Lanai, scuba and snorkeling, you name it. The views were amazing and accommodations very comfortable.

A group of us chartered Blaze II from Lahaina Hi. We were promptly greeted by Captain Kim and her crew. As we sailed through the night under the stars, everyone felt at home and enjoyed the accommodations. Our voyage was a success and we look forward to sailing with Captain Kim again in the near future.

I have taken a charter with Captain Kim 3 times now and will definitely be back. I've been on both of her catamarans and accommodations are clean and comfortable. These trips make you feel like you're "living like a rock star" while you sail the islands, paddle board, kayak, snorkel, scuba, swim with the dolphins, learn to sail, fish/eat fresh sushi and experience exquisite cuisine. Kim lets you pick the music, dance on board and tailor your trip to meet the needs of your group. SOOO FUN!

We spent 4 days on the Blaze II. Absolutely beautiful catamaran and everyone was so welcoming. Captian Kim tried to make all four of our teenagers feel included, let two of them drive, and even pulled into her home island to get a few sea sick bands for the kids. William and Captain Kim were excellent chefs and William even remembered our daughters very specific diet issues when whipping up mid day and late night snacks. Everyone was very accommodating to whatever we wanted to do or needed. They were very patient with a couple sea sick teenagers and went out of their way to take us to special spots everyone would enjoy. With four kids, they were also very diligent when everyone was in the water, ensuring everyone was safe and had something to relax on should they get tired. There was a slight mix up with the scheduling, but Captain Kim was very quick to correct. Highly recommend for an experience of a lifetime.

Wonderful charter! Our Friendship Cruise was a wonderful five day experience we will always remember! The itinerary ended up as a round trip from Maui - Molokai - Lanai and back to Maui but it was mostly set by the wind conditions and our desire of the moment...awesome right!? Every stop we made was beautiful, secluded and nothing short of magical - we even requested a return visit to a lovely bay on the backside of lanai we fell in love with! Captain Kim and her co-Captain Suavic are seriously passionate about sailing! They are ultra competent and not only made us feel safe but also shared their love of the seas. Captain Kim was also our chef and fed us delicious healthy meals kindly taking into consideration our food preferences and quirks. Kim & Suavic shared many stories of their epic world sailing adventures around the dinner table. They are both all hearts and they certainly found their way into ours ❤️ The Blaze II is an impressive 62 ft catamaran. It is roomy, comfortable and impeccably clean. Our little group of five had the run of the boat and even though we had access to three nice rooms each with a private bath, most of us found ourselves sleeping outside under the stars. There are also all kinds of toys to play with on the boat including kayaks, paddle boards, and good snorkeling gear... This was a seven star cruise! We couldn’t be happier and hope to find ourselves back on Captain Kim’s boat...one day!

Our half day snorkel trip was amazing. Everyone in our group of 12 had such a great experience. They had a great crew on deck to make us feel safe and appreciated. I really enjoyed watching Captain Kim’s passion for the sea and her love for the Blaze II. It is a beautiful thing to have such a deep love for what you do. She spotted whales for us and took us to a private spot by Lanai to snorkel. Her crew was personable and hard working.

Seeing parts of the islands that NO ONE ever gets to see, dolphins swimming beside the boat feet away from you, snorkeling in spots basically no one gets to, etc, etc. The boat is beautiful as were our crew. Incredible sailors with intimate knowledge of the culture, history and community (helps to have a native born Hawaiian on board whose aunt owned the ONLY house on the backside of Molokai!) . Kim is fantastic, a great chef, seems to know everyone and really made us feel at home. Not sure how it could have been a better experience.

Our five days on 'Blaze II' was more than any of us could have ever imagined! I loved watching my two grandchildren, 16 and 19, experience jumping off the cliffs. Being the 76 year old grandmother, I loved the snorkeling and kayaking. Mom and Dad kept up the pace when they took kayaks and paddle boards to a lava beach to take closer look at one of many water falls coming out of the mountain of Molokai. We took the Dingy into the harbor to explore Lanai'. We learned that the island has prolific herds of Axis deer and can be hunted all year long with bow and arrow. The Lanai beach is lovely and we enjoyed the quaint town. On the last day hundreds of Dolphins came out of no where to give us an unbelievable show. Captain Kim, Kent and Tommy were all the epitome of hospitality hauling our water toys in and out of storage many times a day. Almost forgot Captain Kim is an excellent chef too. She puts together gourmet meals with the least amount of effort. We were never hungry! Thank You, God, for giving us all this beauty and wonderment and thank you, Captain Kim, Kent and Tommy for giving us five of the best days of our lives!

Wow what an experience sailing through the night on this beautiful 62ft Catamaran called Blaze ll from Maui to Lanai then onto Waikiki. Capt Kim is very knowledgeable and ensures everyone is well looked after, comfortable and most of all having fun. We got to kayak, paddle board, surf and get towed on the wow rider, the kids absolutely loved it they were laughing all the time and so was I. During our sail we got to see many whales breaching along the way which was very exciting. I can highly recommend this charter as it will be an experience you will never forget. My family and I had a blast sailing with capt Kim and her crew! We all love snorkeling and they made sure we hit amazing spots. Dinner was served under beautiful sunsets and we spotted lots of whales, even some dolphins! Can’t wait to do it again

One of the first things Captain Kim said to us when we came onboard was ‘this is your new home for the next month’. We’d spoken several times before arriving on the Big Island and Kim listened to what we were looking to do and experience as a family with 3 young kids. The trip exceeded our every plan and expectation. So much so that the kids spoke about it almost every day for a year until we returned the following year. Kim and her crew showed us Hawaii like we would never see it if we’d stayed on land. Every day was filled with new ‘firsts’ and unforgettable experiences for us and the kids - swimming with manta rays at night under the boat; following hundreds of dolphins on the dinghy and jumping into the ocean with them; cliff jumping with the kids off Black Rock; anchoring in Waimea Bay and paddle boarding to the beach; visiting the forbidden island of Niihau and collecting opihis to BBQ on the boat; riding a hilarious inflatable/towable; paddle boarding peace in Hanalei Bay; and being pulled on a board behind the dinghy pretending to be cowboys!; the ATV ride of our life through the red Garden of the Gods on Lanai and visiting deserted beaches and collecting amazing driftwood; catching big and small fish off the boat which Kim would sometimes sashimi or BBQ for us - but usually release them back into the ocean; chill music all day (with the best playlists) and sometimes hilarious karaoke at sunset; sailing the stunning Napali coast and dipping into caves; swimming with turtles on countless occasions - and monk seals; sleeping under the stars on the back net and waking up with the sun. (there were very comfortable cabins but we often preferred to sleep outside). The boat became our home - we’d never sailed before, although we love everything to do with the sea and water - but we quickly adapted to what was a new way of living. The kids experienced so many things they never would have on a ‘normal’ holiday, including learning about sailing and survival and looking after the environment. We spent a good amount of time on land as well, driving the road to Hana, helicopter rides over volcanoes, zip lining through rainforests on the Big Island, visiting fish ponds in Molokai, jumping under waterfalls on the North Shore - Kim and her crew made everything easy in terms of planning and were incredibly flexible - their number one aim was to make sure we had the holiday of our lifetime. The food onboard was super - varied, healthy and tasty. Kim can cook! Sometimes we went ashore for a meal and a walk round whichever port or town we were near, doing some fun shopping along the way, including for some pretty cool artwork. We avoided the more touristic spots, wanting instead to spend time in more remote parts, of which there were many. Kim and her crew's knowledge and love for Hawaii, her sense of action and fun and generosity of spirit - as well as her deep knowledge of sailing - combined with a beautiful boat to give us a safe, incredibly original and unforgettable experience. And family memories for a lifetime.

Kim and her staff provide an exciting , unique , experience, like you you have never had. The food was incredible, excellent snorkeling adventures , along with fishing. It truly was the highlight of our whole trip to Hawaii.....highly recommended for a trip of a lifetime.

I had the most amazing bareboat charter this past week on the catamaran. I couldn’t wait to set sail on this vacation. It was made for anyone who loves the open sea, clear water and a real getaway experience. I saw huge waves, turtles, dolphins, butterfly fish and we had the best homemade food for every meal. The first day we spent on Maui in front of the beautiful Lahaina and Mala harbors where we were anchored. The water was deep blue as I laid relaxed on the trampoline on the bow. How amazing was it to have a cold drink and sit in the sun all day! That afternoon we left for Lanai. The ocean stayed calm for us as we sailed across the channel. I could see islands on the horizon all around me. I couldn’t believe how the weather stayed sunny and beautiful the whole time. When we got to Lanai we docked at Manele Bay and explored the nearby beaches. The kids played in the waves and the rest of the family that joined us enjoyed the surrounding scenery. That night we had mahi mahi burgers homemade for us on the back deck with the sunset as our lonely view. With no one around we felt the real Hawaiian getaway all around us. The next day we circumnavigated the island of Lanai and all of its rugged coastline. There were rocks jutting from the sea and green grass growing on the side of the rolling mountains. Maui sat in the misty distance as we made our way into the wind. What a cool feeling to be free from traffic, crowds and noise. All we could hear was the water rushing against the hull and soon we could see Molokai, the friendly isle, becoming closer and closer. Our last stop before returning to Oahu was a night anchored on Molokai. On Saturday morning we all went to the market to explore the small town of Kaunakakai and there, we found sweet bread, cookies and postcards among the friendly faces of strangers. Later that day, we sailed to another anchorage on Molokai called Haleolono. The water was turquoise and calm. Here, we kayaked and collected opi’i shells which are a Hawaiian delicacy when cooked correctly. As the sun set, we had dinner all together- another homemade selection of seared ahi, stir fry vegetables and for dessert, pound cake! It was awesome!! Our last stop was busy Oahu. But on this catamaran, we were still secluded and able to play in our own section of ocean with a bunch of blow up toys and snorkels. The water was again crystal clear. This vacation has showed me how beautiful the Hawaiian islands are and how differently one can explore the waters around them. I didn’t even get sunburned. I would recommend this vacation to anyone.

Kim is an incredible captain and an absolute ball of fun!!! See turtles, whales, dolphins and all kinds of fish. She’ll take you surfing and hiking and whip up some of the best seafood dinners � if you’re in Hawaii, she’s the one to call!!

My Fiancé and I spent 4 days on the Blaze and absolutely loved it. Exactly what we were looking for on our honeymoon. Kim was our Captain and she was great. My wife and I did a 6 day charter from Maui, seeing all the surrounding islands. Molokai, Lanei, Molankini then back to Maui. It was surreal scenery, felt like part of the set of Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park! Hang on, it actually was!! There are tons of super remote spots to hideaway where there isn’t a sole in sight, so refreshing to feel completely with nature. We sailed aboard Blaze 2, fantastic high quality vessel fully kitted out with all the toys you could want, surf boards, paddle boards, kayaks, wake board, water skis, diving/snorkel gear etc... we didn’t even use it all. The boat is comfortable and we slept well, air con was a treat! Blaze sailed like a dream, she is super stable and handles well in force 5-6 winds. Cat’s are the only way to sail in Hawaii. But more than anything our experience was made perfect by Captain Kim and her crew. Their hospitality was on another level, amazing freshly prepared food whenever we wanted. Highly recommend to anyone considering!

We actually stumbled across the Hawaii Catamaran Charters by accident and it was specifically Kim who we so fortunately crossed paths with. Anyway, once we learned that we could go out the following day for an all exclusive day of sailing, whale watching, snorkeling, paddle boarding, fishing and anything else we want to do kind of day, we were sold. We met with the ship early the next morning and went out to sea. It wasn’t long before we were seeing Whales up close and personal (lots of great photos) and all this whilst breakfast is being served. We sailed around the islands, snorkeled and laid out on the deck, soaking up the sun as the rhythmic sound of the hulls cutting their way through the ocean just relaxed us. Such a beautiful and special day. We saw so many Whales, tail slapping and breaching, we saw the most gorgeous sunset. What a solid day out, had to be the best day of any holiday. We were surprised beyond our imagination, the whole experience and service was incredible, we can hardly wait for our next visit so that we can do it all over again.
